Italkit innerrotor

Bericht door Gast »

Hi forum..

I saw this picture, and noticed that the ignition looked 100% like the same that piaggio 50cc scooters use? And I wondered, is it the same that can be used on a maxi ?

hey..thats correct, there are too hpi (horse power ignition) for maxi's it gives you a quick aqcelleration on your mini.these are the same as the one that they use in the scooter races, but than for a maxi engine. so a scooter hpi dousn't fit on your maxi engine. Gr Dave

yep, they are the same,
you don't need the shim wich you can put the ignition on when you use it on a piaggia engine.

Michael,

basicly most of the scooter ignitions can be used on the Puch. You need a right turning innerrotor and most of the scooters do haven them. For example I used the HPI unit of Minarelli Horizontal with a modified mountingplate. But not every innerrotor ingnitions does have a variable timing based on the rpm, so please be aware of that.
