Your engine is not on the same place as your backwheel, so the chain is straight on the two cogwheels !

You have to make some construction, that you can displace your engine to the sides so that you can figure out, when the chain is in a straight line from the front-cogwheel, to the back-cogwheel.

And THEN you can make the bottom chassis.

(not to far, becose you don't want that the engine hits the floor wen you are going to the richt corners)
Then jou make a adapter for your back sprocked so you can alined it with
your front sprocket.

Ik heb een as gemaakt die door het blok heen zit, deze is aan alle zijde te stellen dit om zo de juiste positie van het blok te bepalen.
Daar naast heb ook een schijf gedraait van ongeveer 100 mm dim, deze op de koppelings kom gemonteerd inplaats van het voortandwiel, deze schijf heeft dezelfde maaten als het voor tandwiel.
Maar door de grote dim kun je nu het geheel met een rij uitlijnen naar het achter tandwiel.



Als je deze schijf maakt kun vrij gemakkelijk het blok in lijn krijgen.

Helaas is mijn engels niet zo goed (heb meer verstand van koppelingen ), dus als iemand het voor onze spanjaart kan vertalen, graag.

the distance between the ''center of your front cog wheel'' to the ''center of you're con rod(center of your engine)

will not be the same as the distance between the center of your rear cog wheel to the center of your rear tyre/rim.

i did make a disk of 100mm with the same thickness as the original cog wheel.
when u replace the disk for youre cogwheel, u can align your chain (from front cogwheel to rear cogwheel ) by using a ''lineaal'' of ''beam''.
place that lineaal to the disk...and straight to your rear cog wheel...

I think you just have to make sure that gear 1 and 2 are aligned.
It doesn't matter if the whole block isn't centered.. (at least, that's what I think...)

Yes, the most inportant is that your're 2 sprocket's (cog wheels) are lined up.
Because if your chain don't go strait, it breaks or whil leave te cog wheels.
If the engine is more to the right or to the left of the frame it is not a problem.
